ke utara (verb): Malay; going north or to north
I still remember the time when my mum told me to write my experiences about my travels in a book. I was eight then. I brought along a jotter book to my middle-east trip, wrote one or two entries and then stopped. I still remember when I set up a blog for my travels back in 2005, wrote one or two entries and then stopped. I still remember setting up a blog coz I was plain bored waiting for Uni entrance, wrote for a few months and then stopped.
you see, writing has never been my passion. i see writing as a brain juice squeezing job that is put aside just for my school essays/reports/yada yada yada. so how do i remember those wonderful moments? that would be in a form of photographs and really, not through words expressed. (funny thing is my discipline requires me to write A LOT)
so here is a blog again. an ATTEMPT to keep you, my friends, updated about my life on the other side of the planet. It begins with a few pre-departure entries and we shall see how it goes on from there.

the photograph that you see above was taken during my trip to Niagara Falls in 2005. It's just a tree branch that has frozen. Yet, it exudes a certain kind of charm.
You are back blogging again! Great masya’allah:) Heard you are overseas. I pray for Allah’s protection over you insya’allah. Have a safe trip!
